Does Chili's really charge 7.95 to ship a gift card to someone? Seriously?

Riya.com:

Wow, wow and wow.

If you haven't seen Riya yet, it is a photo community site where it automatically recognizes faces in your photos and tags them according to the person's face. Once again, wow. It really works. I uploaded about 750 pictures today and it did a bang up job recongizing them. There are still some bugs to work out, but for the most part, this is one of the most promising things to hit the web since Google Maps, and it has the potential to make that look like child's play. As soon as I get some invites, I will try to send some out...

Late to the party, Google offers voice messaging - Yahoo! News

So, Google is offering messenger. Big deal. Hopefully it won't suck, but I probably won't use it because none of my friends want to have Yahoo, Google, Hello, and MSN messenger running at the same time. Not to mention AOL.

My buddy Dewayne was looking for a website for his dad, and I recommended Blogger. We will see what he thinks. I am putting this picture here so he can see what it looks like.

From Chicagosports.com:

Baker was fuming after Wednesday's 4-3 loss because of his team's mental mistakes. Three Cubs pitchers did not cover first on ground balls. In the bottom of the ninth, the Cubs lost on a passed ball with the bases loaded, as catcher Michael Barrett threw down to third while Rollins was halfway up the third-base line, allowing him to score.
But it was the pitchers not covering first base that still had Baker upset.

"[Pitching coach] Larry [Rothschild] is going to address it," Baker said. "It's within his department."

So, Dusty...when is anything going to be in your department? When will the buck passing stop? When will you admit that it is you that is managing this team, not Rothschild or Clines or Spier or Matthews? When will we hear that you are going to do something about it?

Whatever I want it to be. My thoughts, my family, my rants. All in one delicious, appetizing sampler.
